Indeed.  Note that I added this 'initial' flag during 2.2.8 development
(on 2004/02/03, after 2.2.7 release), never documented it, then removed it
one month later after deciding it was decidedly too silly.

I'm sorry you happened to upgrade Math::Pari in the meantime.

Anyway, I'm convinced, I've just restored bruteall as it used to be. You
can remove the hacks you had to introduce in Math::Pari.
