The (unadvertised!) ref-stable and html-stable variants are generated by the 2.7.* gphelp and 2.7.* docs, which contained about 40 known conversion bugs and glitches compared to 2.8.*. The /html/ version uses frames which are scheduled to be replaced by a css equivalent. The /ref/ version should pass a HTML5 validator (and currently misses a few sections like "GP operators" and the introduction to "readline"). -- Karim Belabas, IMB (UMR 5251) Tel: (+33) (0)5 40 00 26 17 Universite de Bordeaux Fax: (+33) (0)5 40 00 69 50 351, cours de la Liberation http://www.math.u-bordeaux.fr/~kbelabas/ F-33405 Talence (France) http://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/ [PARI/GP] `
