Read/write access to GIT repository

SSH access assumes you have a working ssh setup that lets you login to the PARI server pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr. In this document we explain the difference between anonymous access and ssh access.

SSH Setup:

You need to use the authorized key ssh authentification mechanism, otherwise git will keep asking you for a password each time you want to access the server.

Connection to the GIT server via ssh:

Type the following command from the shell
  git clone ssh://LOGIN@pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/home/git/pari
replacing LOGIN by your login name on the PARI server. Then, you may proceed as usual.

Note:

when logged on pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr, use
  git clone /home/git/pari
to avoid network overhead.
