As usual, mandrake ship with a broken C compiler.
Try cd /usr/local/pari-2.1.5/Olinux-i686
/usr/bin/gcc -c -O2 -DGCC_INLINE -Wall -Wno-implicit -fomit-frame-pointer   -I. -I../src/headers  -o buch2.o ../src/basemath/buch2.c
make gp

If it still does not work, use -O0 instead of -O2.
Eventually you may want to install a less broken version of gcc.

Probably you 're right for the Mandrake gcc compiler, because with Debian Linux, there's no problem...
