Here is the result of 
grep --recursive zbrent *
launched in the root directory of pari-2.1.5 :

CHANGES:   29- typo in zbrent (always used bisection)
doc/usersch3.tex:\synt{zbrent}{entree *ep, GEN a, GEN b, char *expr, long prec}.
src/headers/paridecl.h:GEN     zbrent(entree *ep, GEN a, GEN b, char *ch, long prec);
