System information: % \gp Reading GPRC: /home/jj/.gprc ...Done. GP/PARI CALCULATOR Version 2.9.2 (released) amd64 running linux (x86-64/GMP-6.0.0 kernel) 64-bit version compiled: Apr 8 2017, gcc version 4.9.2 (Debian 4.9.2-10) threading engine: single (readline v6.3 enabled, extended help enabled) % uname -a Linux xeon 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.39-1+deb8u2 (2017-03-07) x86_64 GNU/Linux Another thing that should be addressed is that gp does not handle terminal resizing meaninfully.
