What do you mean ?After receiving you email, I tried to repeat the problem. While doing that I used Pi instead of the Tau=2*Pi; which I defined in my startfile.gp. I see that I needed to add the \p 100 before the Tau line or use Tau()=2*Pi. I am thinking the second one would follow the \p settings while the first will not.> and I understand that forprime has been changed as to not depend on primelimit.

Not in the stable release yet.

We should release PARI 2.7.0 really soon now, at least according to the PARI
