Dear PARI gurus,

Sorry, newbie's Q:

I use  GP/PARI  V 2.3.4
(mainly elementary but lengthy NT calcs about primes, semiprimes, and likes)
and i'am essentially happy with it 
(much more faster (and cheaper ;-)) 
than, e.g.,  MATHEMATICA - thanks you all very much ).

My Q is: 

Is it worth (and easy!) downloading more recent versions
 (I use Win7, see attached file with info about my NB if of any use)?
I'm interested mainly in faster calcs (again, only elementary topics).
Which Ver do you recommend?
