but: I wouldn't rate this as completely off-topic, since it might be useful to find out sthing about the actual change which is wanted by the majority of the subscribers. Imho the Spam/Virus propagation here is so obvious that it is somehow far from being an actual threat, even for Dos/Windows users which will probably be a minority here. And agreeing to permanent public archiving? isn't this taken for granted anyhow? After all the public archives date at least to 1999. Seems close to eternity ;) cheers, Leonhard
