PARI

I am sorry for such a simple question, but I have to ask: the documentation
and tutorial suggest that a PARI program (script?) can be written, but I do
not see how to invoke the program editor.

I am a professional programmer, so I don't need help in that regard, but
just how to compose and submit a program to PARI.
