This one was improperly defined : smodsi(-1, x) had no meaning for x a large t_INT [ since the result |x| - 1 could not be represented as a C long integer ] It is superseded by the (mostly useless) routines umodui(ulong, GEN) or modsi(long, GEN), which are always defined. I have updated COMPAT.
