--host in Configure 

Is it made specially complicated to compile with arch=none?

Not only one needs to guess the proper osname to put on --host arg,
but also the order of osname and arch is inverted w.r.t. what in O*
directory name.

Is it possible to add some other option, like --arch, to set arch
only?  Or just --port to set it to none...
