# Using SageMath If you have [SageMath](http://www.sagemath.org/) version 6.10, you just need to run ``` sage -i pari_jupyter ``` # Manual installation We assume that you have Python 2.7, other versions may or may not work. 1. Install [Jupyter](http://jupyter.org/) (this is really a meta-package, containing many individual packages). - Either install it using your distribution, - or install it using `pip install jupyter`. 2. Install [Cython](http://cython.org/) from [git master](https://github.com/cython/cython): - `git clone https://github.com/cython/cython.git` - `cd cython` - `./setup.py install` 3. Install [PARI/GP](http://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/) from git master: - `git clone http://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/git/pari.git` - `cd pari` - `./Configure` - `make install` 4. Install [pari_jupyter](https://github.com/jdemeyer/pari_jupyter) from git master: - `git clone https://github.com/jdemeyer/pari_jupyter.git` - `cd pari_jupyter` - `./setup.py install`
