The latest development version has a display bug in the Windows version. In various places, including on breakpoints, strange symbols are used in place of the prompt. For example, I see the symbols \≈' in place of break> when I hit Ctrl+Break:

This behavior is present in gp-gmp-git2c1f4c4.exe but absent in gp-gmp-gitdd11540.exe.

Unfortunately, there have been many changes between these versions, even though they're separated by a short time:
