I have not been able to reproduce the bug further, and I can't dig further into the specific conditions that led to this one because earlier testing crashed the session. This should probably be closed as no-repro.

Could you reproduce the bug without the last line ?
(read "charles.gp") ?
Could you retry with a newer version of PARI ?
I really cannot reproduce this problem even with windows server 2008
and you gprc.txt file.
