We would need more information about your configuration, and the version of
GP you are using.
In case you are using the self-installing Windows binary, and gp's header
says something like
GP/PARI CALCULATOR Version 2.2.7 (development CHANGES-1.xxxx)
with xxxx < 844, then you need to upgrade. [ These particular binaries were
compiled with a faulty compiler ]. Note that these Windows binaries are
currently in testing.
