^C problem

Hi,

once in a while I get into situation when I am running a loop in gp,
then ^C out of it, then change the loop command, then run again etc.,
and all of a sudden ^C stops working. trap() is not involved at all,
I don't use it.  I can't reproduce this problem consistently, but I
was wondering what state of the stack could cause such behavior. I am
using

          GP/PARI CALCULATOR Version 2.2.7 (development CHANGES-1.787)
                i686 running linux (ix86 kernel) 32-bit version
       compiled: Jul 10 2003, gcc-3.2 20020903 (Red Hat Linux 8.0 3.2-7)
                (readline v4.3 enabled, extended help available)

Thanks

Igor
