Here a patch, that can do a lot of interesting things, but not make 'make bench', gp2c 'make check' or gp2c-run working. On the other hand, I would be only moderatly
surprised if you end up with a working dynamic library.

Well, I tried this. It gives me a complaint about a missing separator on line 295 of the Makefile in 'Odarwin-ppc'. I'm attaching the Makefile. My Configure is a bit non-standard, because I put in the ability to recognize PowerPC.

A turkey dinner calls.  I'll check in later.
